Kevin from Rooter Solutions provided truly exceptional service when my water heater suddenly broke. Arriving less than two hours after my morning call, Kevin immediately demonstrated the kind of deep technical expertise you rarely see, diagnosing the leak and clearly explaining the complex mechanical issues in simple, easy-to-understand terms. My water heater had to be replaced and that meant an unexpected pinch on me at the end of the month, but Kevin’s professionalism and mastery of his craft made all the difference. He patiently walked me through my options, secured a fair price, and completed the entire installation with incredible precision and speed—restoring my hot water by midday. His competence, combined with a 6-year warranty and 2 year labor warranty, gave me total peace of mind, and I cannot recommend Kevin highly enough for his phenomenal skill and efficiency. Adan was excellent and very professional. Came to my house and identified the problem quickly. Turned out the actual problem wasn't as extreme as originally thought. Rather than trying to sell me a service I didn't need, they told me the initial fix was all that was needed. I really appreciate honesty and that's  what I got. I had a wonderful experience with Rooter Solutions for a cleanout installation. Cesar, Adan, and two crew members did an absolutely amazing job from start to finish. They were incredibly professional and explained the entire process clearly to me so I knew exactly what to expect. They finished the installation much quicker than I expected. What really stood out was that they took on the extra step of removing tree roots from my pipeline, which really gave me peace of mind. On top of that, they cleaned up the workplace very well afterward. I am thoroughly impressed by their speed, communication, and top-tier workmanship. Recently had to place the main sewer line
Cesar and Hector helped me come up with a plan. They brought their team and got to work. Cesar took care of all the permits and paperwork and help with getting us the financing. Sean S was very thorough with his explanation of estimate. Arturo ran a camera 75 feet down my drain lines while Sean explained everything we saw. Thankfully the lines were clear. Arturo replaced my toilet and angle valve. Total time was approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Arturo did a very professional job. Very happy with my experience. I called these Rooter Solutions earlier today after one of my clients reported a clogged toilet. I am a Contractor and estate manager and deal with plumbers and service-related companies on a daily basis. Rooter Solutions was exceedingly organized and quick and from initial outreach to being on site was just over an hour and a half. They had multiple touch points with clear and efficient communication. I was not on site and they were servicing a property out in the rural foothills well behind Montecito which can be a bit spotty on service and tricky to navigate on a first visit. Everyone on their team was patient, professional and polite. They resolved the issue quickly and unbelievably cost-effectively. I’ve used this plumber several times, and he has been amazing every single time. He is very responsible, responds quickly, and always gets the job done right. His prices are fair and reasonable, and I never feel like I’m being overcharged.

Cesar and Francisco came out this week to help us diagnose ongoing drain clogs and a persistent odor issue at my business, and I cannot recommend them enough.

From the moment they arrived, they were punctual, professional, and incredibly thorough. As a business owner, I had a long list of questions and concerns, and they took the time to patiently walk me through every single detail without ever making me feel rushed.

Since I didn’t have access to the plumbing blueprints for our plaza, they went above and beyond by using a camera and locator to accurately map out the pipe system, including identifying shared lines. That level of effort alone gave me so much clarity and peace of mind.

They conducted a full camera inspection, explained the condition and age of the pipes, and helped me clearly understand what was causing the issues. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and honest they were. They didn’t only point out problems, they provided multiple solutions and helped me choose the most practical and cost-effective option.

I called Rooter Solutions when my toilet backed up. They sent out one of their plumbers named Romeo.  He was very polite and knowledgeable and was able to unclog the drain, but upon a camera inspection it was found that more work needed to be done where the ABS pipe connected to the clay sewer line.  They scheduled the work for the following week and assigned their master plumber, Ceaser, to do the job. Ceaser was awesome and went the extra mile to get the job done right.  There were no cutting corners.

I manage 8 rental properties in Chula Vista and have used many different plumbers through the years for various plumbing issues. Most companies overcharge and under deliver.  I was very impressed with Rooter Solutions, and they are now my "go to" plumbers when I need work done in the future. I just did a major sewer line repair all the way to city drop with Rooter Solution and found them very professional, communicated well and based on my understanding they did super good quality work. I found them bit expensive but I went ahead with them because I found out that they had all the right tools, people and know how and doesn't have to get other sub-contractor involved. They explained everything clearly as we went along and were patient with me while I made decisions about what we could commit to financially. I retained Rooter Solutions to reset my drainage lines which became clogged due to root intrusion. Kevin Santacruz ran the operation. As a result of trenching a few of my irrigation lines were broken causing water seepage onto the sidewalk. Kevin returned to my house on 4 occasions to repair the broken lines. He never complained nor did he try to claim it was not their fault. Eventually Kevin was able to repair all  4 broken lines. Cesar and Francisco came to my house and were extreme professional, courteous, helpful, and amazing. They were able to fix the problem with no cost to me and they were able to give me information about my mom‘s washer and dryer that I didn’t know about as it pertain to the drainage. They worked for especially Francisco, who is an amazing gentleman for an hour, even though the piping behind the washer was difficult and best to clear out, he did his best and then when we ran the washer and the rinse cycle took, he was able to fix the problem at no cost, and then Cesar came by later, and between the two of them, I was amazed at their professionalism and their help. There should be a some kind of award that they should be given for their kind of extra help to the customer. I live in a very old house, 1957. My father built the house and I ended up inheriting it. I also inherited the problems that go along with a house that is aging. Unfortunately, I believe that bad things happen in threes. Well my husband had just passed away a couple of days before I discovered that the plumbing had stopped up in the toilet long story short the pipes had completely collapsed. They needed to be replaced. And I certainly didn't need this at this particular time. While  I still had the responsibility and the urgency to repair and replace, my review is more on the employees of this company. I had employees such as Pedro Lopez, who came out the first day and worked very hard to discover what the actual issue was. I had interactions with Alex Salinas who was the financial person of the company. And Abraham was the person that actually did all of the repair work along with his partner. I loved all of these guys. They were very professional but also very very respectful to me because of the emotional trauma that I was in from the loss of my husband. And of course, their work was to perfection. Lastly, I had several interactions with the foreman of the group by the name of Christian. He is a rock solid individual who is excellent at being the foreman and being able to assess the situation very quickly. Christian came in the middle of my emotional grief and quickly was able to analyze that there was more to this than just the plumbing. Christian, you are a superb human being with a very very kind heart. Not only are you knowledgeable on your business but you are also an individual who treats people with respect indignity. I highly recommend Rooter Solutions, especially Cesar and Francisco. We needed plumbing services for a sewer line backup and called Rooter Solutions for a quote. Cesar came out and was thorough and professional as he worked to figure out how to fix the problem. Francisco did the work. He is hard working and very knowledgeable. He took care to keep our house clean when accessing the crawl space in a closet, explained what he was doing, and even offered advice for improvements on plumbing deficiencies he noticed while here. He also worked late to make sure we were up and running for the night. I liked their work so much we decided to have Rooter Solutions move a supply line pressure regulator from an underground Christy box to a more accessible location. These guys are pros. We had our main sewage line replaced at our 1967 house after issues with all our toilets and drainage. Cesar and Bryan were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process.

What stood out was when they dug up the line, they found additional problems that would've pushed us over budget. Instead of just quoting the extra cost, they worked with us to find solutions that kept everything within our original price range. That kind of flexibility and understanding made a stressful situation much easier.

The patch-up work after completion was exceptional - you honestly can't tell any digging happened at all. The yard looks like it did before they started.

Professional, accommodating, and clearly care about their customers beyond just getting the job done.

let me start by saying i only need reviews unless i'm super happy or freaking living. and these guys knocked it out of the park. i had a clogged drain in my kitchen. turned out to be a super complex situation. Gil who was phenomenal, spent hours here going over every scenario try multiple different situations to fix the problem. eventually came out what does supervisor ran a camera showed me everything that was going on  with my 60-year-old pipes and still stuck to the original quote and was able to stihl unclog my drain. give me a quote to replace all the pipes in that area which needed to be replaced it was a fair price i'm going to have them back over in the next month or so. me being a contractor i can see through BS and there was none of it

TLDR: New washing machine backing up into drainage standpipe, because of kitchen sludge, and had Rooter Solutions install the correct piping to great success.

DEEPER DIVE: New manufactured home came with dodgy 1.5" kitchen/laundry drainage, with 10 years accumulated severe sludge in a few places. A week of enzyme drain treatments had zero effect (enzymes might be a choice for maintenance but not hard clearing in this experience). Wanting an answer, sought out a company with great reviews: enter Rooter Solutions.

On time, Hector ran an auger, then appraised the situation, and offered solutions. Snaking can only get you so far in our situation (my take, and also very true). Video analysis revealed a further story: Big time sludge, that a mechanical auger can't correctly address. It came down to hydro jetting or pipe replacement. The latter was the most attractive, from a cost-benefit analysis sense (ie: keep up with routine cleaning of an inadequate system, or replace it to standard, per new washing machine specs, and have more peace of mind). The next day, right about mid afternoon, the team completed the job. Very impressed. Since then, no more musical pipes, just the sweet sound of runoff.

Just wanted to quickly get on here and give props to this company, specifically the young man named Hector, who quickly came down and solved my issue. My kitchen sink has been giving me issues for a while now. After many issues with prior companies, i found this one who sent out Hector. I was worried we were going to get no where but honestly he came in , very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. I explained the issue to him and before he touched the sink, he informed me on what it could be and reassured me that he would do everything he can to make sure this would be a successful and satisfactory visit. After the reassurance he pulled out some tools and unclogged whatever was going on. He also, unfortunately,  mentioned that this will only get worse. He called his manager Caesar to come by and in the meantime while he arrived Hector made sure to go under the house (crawlspace) to make sure there was no leaking pipes or no further issues at the bottom. When his manager stopped by they both provided me with a couple options but i’m moving out so we left it at the quick fix and that was that. Great experience with Brayan. He was able to fix our clogged bathroom drain. He also was able to run up and get the right part in the right color to replace it on the spot.Brayan went above and beyond and fixed a couple little other things for me, including the kitchen sink filter at no charge. I don’t usually write reviews but this is absolutely deserving of one. Rooter Solutions helped me & my family so much. The service, communication and coordination was top tier. Cesar & Hector’s  service was really more than I could have expected. The pipes under our  home burst and under the home flooded, these two helped me get in contact with a company that provided the flood rescue service very quickly! Once the flooding was taken care of Cesar & Hector with the help of their team were able to completely, remove, replace and restore all of our pipes including sewage & main waterline. Last year Rooter installed a water heater for us.  Due to manufactory defect, the water heater was rusted quickly at the bottom.  I talked to Frank about possible replacement.  Under a very tight schedule, Frank sent a very capable worker Cesar to perfectly reinstall a new water heater for us.  It is a beautiful work, making us so happy! I had a great experience with Rooter solutions-I had called a few  places and was told they would get back to me when  they had a plumber available - with no time frame.When  I called Rooter solutions - I was told they would have some one within the hour and he   actually showed up early!  He was able to figure out the problem and fix it in a timely manner even going out of his way  to make sure  then he put my bathroom back exactly the way it was ! Several years ago Rooter Solutions did some septic work on a house in the San Fernando Valley. These few years later we were going to do some preventive maintenance on the system and realized that what we had contracted for, access to the system for pumping, was not actually completed properly. I contacted RS to indicate the problem who willingly worked with us to try to understand where the problem actually was. It was worked out that they would come back, at no charge to us, and provide the access we needed. This was done expediently and professionally with the team lead, Martine, managing the project among the many other things he had going on in other locations. Rooter Solutions did a superb job in fixing our old sewer line! They trenched and replaced the old pipe and our old water line with copper ones. The work was very extensive and laborious, but their technicians Pedro, Hector and Orlando did the job with great professionalism and attention to detail. Pedro especially demonstrated great working skills coupled with good ethics and was very polite. The owner, Fernando, came regularly to personally inspect the work progress and kept in touch with us.
